Formed as a partnership and launched in 2025, two founders have come together with equal goals and values determined to improve the lives of pets everywhere.
Both Susan and Sara may come from different generations, have different backgrounds, and come from different parts of the United States, but we believe this makes us uniquely strong. We are bonded over the love of dogs, and the shared goal of making life better for them (and all pets!).

Sara Seibt – Chief Executive Officer
Details
Sara has worked in a variety of industries, from marketing to front end web development, project management and data privacy. What has not changed is her love of dogs, and all animals (pet mom to two, and long time rescue volunteer!). With a previous experience in both founding a start-up and working in them, she brings a well-rounded edge of experience to the partnership to expand the group’s mission and enact its vision both locally, nationally, and globally.
Susan Hansen – Chief Research and Development Officer

Susan’s start-up journey began when she wanted to help her senior dog Coleman (pictured above) who developed severe noise sensitivity in his old age. As a pet parent, she couldn’t stand to see Coleman shake and shiver every time there was a loud noise in the house. Not finding the current market solutions acceptable, she leveraged her background in competitive shooting and human-grade sound protection. Thus, CrittEar was born: ear plugs custom fit to the unique canine ear. With Susan’s experience in research and invention, she brings to the partnership a wealth of knowledge to enact its mission.
